This is the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel ans was built in 1914 at the cost of £5,000. The church above was photographed in 1928.
At this time people would have been very religious and many people on a Sunday and maybe other days as well would have visited this church. The church, when photographed above looks like it was in a quite remote place.
